Ingredients

  • • 8 apples, peeled, cored and thickly sliced
  • • 1 cup of old fashioned oats
  • • ¾ cup of wheat flour
  • • ¼ and ½ cup of brown sugar
  • • ½ cup of butter
  • • 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • • 1/8 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Layer the sliced apples in a slow cooker theN top them with the granulated sugar, ¼ cup of brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl then layer them on the apples.
  3. Cover the pot and cook the apple crisp for 3 h on low.
  4. Once the time is up, allow the apple crisp to sit for 15 min then serve it warm and enjoy.
