Ingredients

  • • 6 tablespoons of cacao powder
  • • 1 ½ cups of purpose flour
  • • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • • ¾ cup of sour cream
  • • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • • ¾ cup of white sugar
  • • 2 cups of boiling water
  • • 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
  • • 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • • 2 tablespoons of boiling water
  • • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • • 1 teaspoon of almond extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the baking soda with flour, baking powder and brown sugar in a bowl then set it aside.
  2. Whisk the peanut butter with almond extract, 2 tablespoons of water, sour cream and melted butter in a medium bowl.
  3. Fold the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until no lumps are found then pour the batter in a greased slow cooker.
  4. Combine 2 cups of boiling water, cocoa powder and white sugar in a small bowl then whisk them until they become smooth.
  5. Pour the cacao sauce on the cake batter then cover it and cook the cake for 1 h and 30 min.
  6. Once the time is up, allow the cake to cool down for 15 min then serve it with some ice cream and enjoy.
